Fiction that exhumes
Morgana Bourggraff is an American-Luxembourgish writer of literary historical fiction. Her work is rooted in archival fragments, local histories, and the moral tensions of belief, often exploring how women navigate power under systems that deny them agency.
She is currently completing her final year of the Creative Writing Diploma at the University of Oxford and is at work on her debut novel, Fervour—a reimagining of the Münster Rebellion told in the voice of a nameless spirit.
She lives in Luxembourg with her husband and son. An amateur archaeologist at heart, she spends her free time tracing the buried and overlooked. In her professional life, she is an experienced public speaker, regularly invited to deliver lectures and serve on panels across Europe. She brings that same clarity and poise to literary events and is eager to engage with readers.
